It was so romantic to think that I would finally be visiting Notting Hill. Since this is when the Covid-19 outbreak was about to get real bad real fast in USA and other places in Europe, my boyfriend and I were scared to go around London. We thought there would be xenophobia but there wasn't at all in London at the time. We went to Notting Hill but we went in the early morning, because we had plans to go to Harry Potter right after, so we could not fully enjoy the stroll around the city. We went to Notting Hill and met up my guide photographer who would walk around with us and take photos of me. He told us that Notting Hill was usually very very packed, but that day there was absolutely no tourists taking photos at all. They were all inside because of the virus. He thought it was so weird because it was his thousandth time at those spots and never saw the place so empty before.

Our first spot was at these colorful houses. He asked me what colors I liked and I said pink, but he didn't really take any photos of me in front of pink places except two, and I was sad. However, I still loved all the photos he took and I know that he was on a schedule, so I am very appreciative and glad I did the photo tour. I really loved the houses and how they were kind of like Italy, but more Londonesque in that they were lighter shades than the vibrant colors of Burano houses. The streets were very interesting and beautiful because the floors were all made of tiny stones (bad for my feet), which made the streets of Notting Hill more beautiful.

I like this photo but for some reason I am not digging the dark purple, because it doesn't really compliment the other lighter colors. We visited Portobello Road also, and a lot of beautiful buildings that were very famous in London. I really liked everywhere I visited down Portobello Road, and I really wanted to visit because I used to watch this London Disney movie called "Bedknobs and Broomsticks" as a child. There was a song called Portobello Road where they were landing on the bed and would go around on an adventure down Portobello Road, where they perform magic tricks also. I wanted to visit that road since I was 9, and I am so happy I finally got to this year before Coronavirus hit hard!

Definitely maybe because I watched the film in black and white, and also because the movie is like from the 70s, I did not recognize the roads at all. However, this exact spot is Portobello Market and was from the film! So cool that I was there at that spot.

It doesn't look as busy in real life (because of the virus) for sure. I think Portobello Market is supposed to be super packed all the time, but it was very empty and enjoyable for me because I do not like it so crowded.

Apparently it is this usually crowded, and I definitely did not see this there. Maybe it is crowded if there is some kind of festival. It was St Patty's week, so normally it probably should have been this crowded.

This is a famous antique shop that is well known in Portobello Road. I like how I didn't even know I was still in Portobello Road but was just posing for a photo because the guide told me to lol.

This is one of the most famous bars apparently in London. And the prettiest bar in london. I want to have a beer there sometime when I come back next time. Still Portobello Road.
I really recommend #London_Photo_Tour and #HisPassport to take all your photos in London. He will do more specific things if you ask for them like take photos inside specific cafes. I reallly recommend him on Air BNB once this lockdown is through. Also this is a clip from Bedknobs and Broomsticks one of my favorite Disney Movies as a child. It gives me wonderful memories and I love love love this film! Notting Hill and Portobello Road were such a delight and a once in a lifetime experience. Next time I must visit the bookstore from the film!!!
