One of the cutest and most memorable moment of my trip to Bali was the Balinese floating breakfast. I saw it on instagram before and I wanted to try one so badly. Luckily I arrived at the pool earlier than the proposed time for the breakfast, so I was able to see the workers arrange the flowers and food. I added this on to my package at Puri Gangga Resort for around 20 USD and it was well worth it. The pool was kind of cold as it was in the early morning, but I was so busy eating and admiring the floating breakfast that I did not even get bothered by it. They had an assortment of coffee, juice, fruits, fried rice with egg on top, french toast, and they were all so savory and delicious.
I loved how they put so much detail into each flower petal as they were decorating the entire floating table. This video is a time lapse of the decorating and assortment. So pretty! Also, when I was eating the breakfast I loved how colorful it was but also how it was constantly rotating so that I could get a bite out of each one easily. I really loved how everything Balinese people wore and made was made out of straw and by hand. They had super light and comfy bamboo slippers and they were so cute. All of the bags and room decorations were made of straw as well.

I kind of look weird in the photos because I could not sleep at all.... due to the time change of moving around four Asian countries and was on ultimate jet lag. I think I slept a max of four hours a day in Japan, Macao, and Bali. It was very very exhausting but I was also having a lot of fun too at each country that I think I was too excited to sleep as well. Either way I still look blobular in this photo. Not the floating breakfast or the view though. Those are very very amazing.

I took a lot of videos because of the amazing little details that were so beautifully created. The photos do not do justice though, because they tasted so much better than what they looked like, even though they look beautiful too. The fruits were fresh, the salsa was perfect, the egg was impeccably cooked, and I am so happy that they organized this so early in the morning as I asked. Balinese people sure are known for their impeccable hospitality and wonderful value.
This is the view up to my room from the pool where I had the floating breakfast. There were random rainstorms, and the water that trickled all the way down the rocks to the pool was so beautiful and made me feel so cozy. I liked that it was not cold even when it rained, unlike other parts of the world. I liked how the stepping stones were all uneven and so natural, and how they were deeply embedded so that even when it rained the water did not fill up above the rocks.

I know I stressed this so many times, but Bali is a place you must put on your bucket list and you must visit before you die, at least once. The plane ride length is worth it, everything is so worth it. The floating breakfast was my once in a lifetime type of experience that I truly enjoyed and loved. I fell in love with their traditions, food, and customs, and I know I will be back to the resort for all the other amenities I missed out on, because my trip to Bali was so short.
