The Story Of My Crazy Siberian Huskies

Ah, our crazy Huskies. When we first moved to Apple Valley, we had our dogs Snowy and Ghost in 2016. We had always taken them out to pee and we left them out in the yard sometimes, but not unsupervised. One day, my aunt, my mom, and I went to Ross and my dad was watching my dogs. When we came back, my dad told me that Snowy disappeared. That was the last day I ever saw Snowy again. I do not know if someone stole her, a hawk took her, a coyote, I am going to always live uncertain. Now I am okay, but I was very sad for a long time. I was also mad and have built up resentment because my dad never apologized, explained himself, nor admitted he lost Snowy. I know that he was sad and sorry inside.
Anyway after that I went to buy a new dog when my dad gave me money for a new dog. A Maltipoo that I saw at the Santa Ana pet store was very cute but I do not know if I really wanted a dog at the time. I was too sad I guess. Another year later around May, I was over my boyfriend's house and started looking up breeders for Huskies. I guess my dad wanted huskies because they looked cool and we like Huskies from Game of Thrones. I didn't really think about how they were as a dog or looked their behaviors up. I contacted the nearest breeder and went to see the huskies. I saw one with intense eyes and she was very adorable. I chose her and the next day we went to pick up a boy husky so that they can grow up together. They were so adorable! However, when I went home with them I noticed they would not sleep at 3am and would keep wrestling inside the house. They were insane! We could not sleep at all. They were making a mess all over the house, bumping into furniture, and my dog Ghost did not like them for being disrespectful towards him. We did not expect that! After that my mom said she had enough and we decided to raise the huskies outside the house. That was a lot better because they would just play amongst themselves and have fun. We fed them and let them run around.

This was just the beginning of the story of my crazy ass huskies. Look at these food they scattered all over the place in the house. They were pooping all over the place and stepping on it and waking up my parents in the middle of the night. After a few months, they would bring back dead squirrels and bunnies and start devouring them.
They sometimes caught crows that would fly low to the ground, but in Apple Valley the crows are not normal size. They are bigger than hawks and are very massive. Seeing my huskies catch a crow and carrying it around while it wobbles in their mouth was quite a scene.
After a few months, these two started digging out of our 5 acre fenced yard and running away towards the neighbors' houses. The first day they ran away, they ran away and did not come back until the next morning. We were quite sad because we thought they ran away far to some far away neighborhood, and it was raining that night. There are coyotes in our neighborhood too. We put up a Facebook post and Pawboost, and the next morning our amazing neighbor brought them back. Apparently they were well fed at their house and they slept under a bush in the rain. This would be the beginning of their escaping our house. However, because of them the neighbor told us to join their Apple Valley neighborhood Facebook group, that we still use to this day.
A few months later, Howl had puppies! She kept running and running away before she was pregnant, and she finally stopped just beause she was pregnant. She had 7 cute husky puppies and I had fun taking care of them. 6 of them left to nice homes and we kept the prettiest one, Foxy. Foxy when she was around 12 weeks old would keep escaping our fenced yard also. She would run away but she would come back to our gate, unlike her parents. We put a bell on her to hear her but she lost that quickly. Therefore, we put a harness around her and strapped it to a long rope, so she can run up and down our wooden bridge but not be able to escape. She did grow up alone basically because she hides under our bridge to hunt for squirrels and bunnies and sometimes doesn't come out all day long.
Foxy is actually a crazier hunter than her parents. She catches birds out of the sky, baby bunnies, mice, squirrels, huge jack rabbits, and even cats. YES, housecats. I am so sorry but my huskies killed 3 cats already. If you have a cat please stay away from our yard because they will kill anything that moves. The first time, Howl and Ryden saw a black cat and killed it in a few minutes. The second time, Howl was staring at our tree. I looked up and saw an orange tabby cat stuck in the tree. Howl literally stood there for 3 hours waiting for the cat to come down, but luckily the cat finally jumped outside of our fence and survived.
The next time was a white cat they instantly killed, and the next an orange chubbier cat. Foxy even tried a piece of its left back leg and would not let us steal it away from her. She kept running and growling at us. What is wrong with them! We tried to bury the cat but we found the skull just rolling around outside our yard. It is still visible to this day.

I don't remember how exactly, but I somehow got Foxy to be a half inside dog and let her inside a lot. We also took her to the mountain cabins and she would sleep inside and hang out with my dog Ghost who hates all dogs. They got along pretty well actually. I would take both of them to the park and walk them frequently, and Foxy is a good dog compared to her parents.
I also got her in a costume two years ago and she won a costume contest! 3rd place for Little Red Riding Hood lol.

They run away and don't come back even if you call them. They got a little better, but they still run away when it rains a lot and the holes are easy to dig.
The dogs also eat so much. Howl had puppies again with a black mouth cur up the road, and we kept the cutest one, Midnight. He seems like the best house dog out of all of them because he doesn't try to escape, doesn't run far, and he is always a good boy. He learned paw in a few tries at 8 weeks old and even knows how to switch paws. I love him so much and I am so happy it is the four of them and Foxy is not as lonely anymore. She was acting like the mom which was so strange and she was sleeping with all the puppers.
I am hoping the huskies do not influence Midnight because he is such a good boy! I will update more crazy stories and how Midnight will grow up to be sooner than you know!
