Quarantine Pancake Recipe

April  8 ,2020

Today I woke up and was craving some pancakes in the morning. I told my sister we should make the recipe but she was nowhere to be found when I was making them. Just kidding she went to feed the animals. But anyways here is how I made it. I saw it from google and it seemed very simple.

Ingredients:

1. 2 TBSP of Granulated Sugar (this is not correct feel free to use way more than 2TBSP maybe around 5)

2. 2 Cups of White All Purpose Flour

3. A sprinkle of salt- the google recipe said 1 teaspoon and it was still way too salty

4. Baking Soda or Powder

5. Two Eggs

6. Cup of Milk- I used Lactaid Milk

7. Some Vegetable Oil for Pan and some inside the pancake mixture

Directions

1. Pour a good amount of flour into the bowl

The salt that I put in was half of this chunk and it was still way too salty.

I used a fresh duck egg that I collected from my ducks (we have 13 ducks with 6 hens). People do not really know how to eat a duck egg because they think it is unusual, but trust me they are better for your health than a chicken egg and way more fresh!

Add a cup of milk, and make sure not to add too much milk because it will turn too watery for the mixture. Feel free to add more flour to the mixture to make it more thick if you need.

Start whisking away until the mixture is not clumpy anymore. Try to pop all the flour bubbles because those are the flour powder stuck in the bubbles. I whisked for around 7 minutes and I added Baking Soda to the mixture (my sister did because I thought you couldn't use baking soda instead of baking powder).

The pancakes looked messed up because apparently I cannot flip a pancake still when I am 30. However, they tasted wonderful and literally tasted better than Ihop I have no idea how. I think it is because my sister added a lot more sugar. There you go. Enjoy your quarantine pancakes everyone!!
