Viral Dalgona Recipe We Saw On Tik Tok

My sister made this yesterday and this was my first time making it today. I messed up twice because of the water ratio. Only 2 tablespoons of boiling water! I poured like a cup lol

Ingredients

1. Granulated Sugar- 2 Tablespoons

2. Instant Coffee- 2 TBS

3. Whisk- Any Kind

4. Milk- A little less than a cup

5. Ice- 3 or 4 cubes

6. Boiling Water- 2 Tablespoons

Directions

First, you add two tablespoons of granulated sugar to a bowl or pot.

Then you add some instant coffee (2TBSP) to the same bowl.

Then you add only two TBSP of boiling hot water. Not a cup full!! The whisking will be extra hard if you add more water, and it is already hard.

Then you whisk away until the mixture becomes super fluffy and light caramel brown like the photos. Obviously, I added too much water and the mixture was not good enough so mine is a bad example, but I will try again and succeed tomorrow. It is just that I tried twice and my stomach could not take any more coffee, even though it tasted so delicious.

You literally whisk until your arm is about to fall off and it turns fluffy, which is about 5-8 minutes straight. Make sure that you have all the milk and ice ready to be poured because the mixture will turn watery again if you stop whisking for awhile. You add the ice and milk, and then pour the whisked coffee on top.

Then, you put a straw in it and enjoy! Again, my mixture was not perfect so it did not come out the way it did like on TikTok, but I will try again tomorrow! It tasted the same just not fully fluffy like the viral Dalgona Coffees. Please try to make your own and share! It is so yummy.

The Next Afternoon at 3pm...

I attempted to do the Dalgona the correct way this time and added two TBSP of hot water instead of a cup. I started whisking it for 5 minutes and it looked so light and fluffy! The color looked great as well and it was not dark brown. I was so happy.

The pouring could've been more perfect if I used a spoon or something instead of just pouring it from the pot. I will do it perfectly next time! But such an improvement! I am glad that the color looks so pretty.
