Going to Tokyo, I was so excited to try all the food and pretty desserts I have seen in photos on Instagram. I really wanted to try crepes in Japan, because I know that they would be so delicious. There was this crepe place in the Tokyo plaza in Rowland Heights I used to always go as a teenager with my friends and sister. Every weekend we would go there to take sticker photos and eat a crepe from Genki Living. I was super sad because the Genki Livings in Rowland and Garden Grove both closed down a little back. Because I am so obsessed with these Japanese crepes, it was my mission to find my way around Harajuku in a city I don't speak the language of, and eat my most anticipated dessert crepe. You have to try some of these desserts in Tokyo because they are seriously hands down the best desserts I have ever tried in my life! Here is the list of the most scrumptious, prettiest desserts I have tried in Tokyo, Japan.
1. Angel Crepes, Harajuku

My first day I came to Tokyo, I actually went to Harajuku super early in the morning because I was so jet lagged and could not sleep more than 4 hours. I walked and walked through this shrine, then went to Harajuku just because I was so excited about visiting the city. I then went around when nothing was open there, such as Angel's Crepes and the animal themed cafes. I knew I would be back that day or the next day to try the crepes for sure. That night I came back, and tried the Angel's Crepe even though I heard that Santa Monica's Crepes were really good also (their competitor/rival). I looked at the huge list of varieties for the crepes and wanted the strawberry with cream a simpler one. I ordered by pointing, and then waited for my order. When I finally got the crepe, it was so good! The cream tasted so much less sweet and tastier than America's, and every item inside the crepe was so fresh and tasty. The Genki Living Crepes I have tried were so weak compared to these ones from Harajuku. Seriously the best crepe I have ever had in my life. They are better than European crepes by far, even one that was pretty good in Rome, Italy. I heard that there was an Angel's Crepe in America but they closed down recently. I really want to go back to Tokyo just to eat more crepes from here. No wonder people come to Tokyo for all the food!
2. Eddy's Ice Cream, Harajuku
This ice cream place is the cutest ice cream shop I have ever seen in my life. It seriously tops the museum of ice cream in Los Angeles, with the interior, the taste of the ice cream, and the designs for the ice cream. I don't know how they make these desserts so cute. I love the Led displays, decorations, just everything about the vibes inside the ice cream shop. They went extra with the pink because they even have pink napkins, but it is just my style! I wish I got one of their other extra ice creams, but I kind of got the cutest one I saw first. Next time, I want to try the Victorian ones because they are super pretty. The ice cream tasted so good though! I can't believe it tasted like this because it was so yummy. Usually when some restaurants go overboard with their decorations their food isn't that good, but this was so good!! The Museum Of Ice Cream even had nasty ice cream. lol I want to go back to Tokyo now, damn.
3. The Owl Cafe, Harajuku
There are a lot of competing Owl Cafes in Harajuku. However, my favorite was this one on top of Bom Cafe which was a little past the bustling street where Angel's Crepe was on. I will have to update the name later. This place was so friendly, they loved taking photos of me, the service was impeccable, and they let in people right at the meeting time (no earlier, no later). They also gave me this really nice souvenir cup. It was very cute and looked expensive! It was an owl tea cup with different owl's emotions painted on. It was surprisingly really good quality which I gave to my dad when I got back to the states. Anyway, the owl cafe's main attraction are the owls which I enjoyed so much, because the owls were so nice and so cute!! But also their dessert with coffee was so good too! Their little owl chocolate was on point, the waffle was tasty and the coffee was great. Make sure to stop by this cafe to get all your owl cravings satisfied x)

I am sure that there are lot more Japanese desserts out there which are way more phenomenol than these I have tried, but I only had four days in Tokyo with such limited time for activities and trying out different food. Next time, I will visit everywhere I can in Tokyo and go to the Fuji Mountain too. I want to go everywhere I possibly can, like the red light district Kabukicho, hang out at Shibuya, Harajuku, Shinjuku, Shibuya, and hopefully go to Osaka as well. Maybe a week or two week long vacation if I can. I love it Tokyo so much! And I must try their matcha next time omg.
