Quarantine Day 22

Happy Easter Everyone! Today is Easter Sunday, and I hope that everyone's quarantine is going well. Please do not go to church even though your friends are! I know that sounds so bad as I am a fellow Christian, but it is just not safe. A lot of people who went to their mosques for Ramadan in some countries caught the virus and it is just spreading more. Just stay home and watch the service online, because I know a lot of churches are doing service through zoom or online. It is interesting how the world is all on lockdown still, and how they are extending the lockdown to now May 15 in USA. They say a year in Canada! I feel like everyone will lose their minds or just go out eventually like Korea and China.

Today was kind of cute because the rain finally stopped and I was happy to see the sun shine this morning, but the weather not too hot here yet. We boiled some duck eggs (18), dyed them with food flavoring, and decided to have a quarantine Easter egg hunt with the huskos. The duck egg shells are a bit thicker than chicken eggs, so it is best to boil them for about 15 minutes.

We dyed them blue, purple, orange/yellow, and then Yura started tye dyeing them so they were like a space marble color. Pretty cool!

We hid the 18 eggs all around the yard, mostly in one area, but they did not try very hard to look for them in the beginning. We hid them in like obvious crevices and some in the flowers.

Foxy has found the first one and she just rolled off with it~! The video is kind of far but she has an egg in her mouth.

They found all of them within like 30 minutes. They are so full. They're gonna have some nasty farts later.

He is like "nuh uh you can't take my smegg~" We dyed Biggie's feet and Ryden's tail afterwards. It does not stick very well because it is not actual dye. I gave some egg to Pao our parrot, but he did not like it at all. He made a weird face. Ghost did not want it, but I gave one full hard boiled egg with the shell to Biggie and he peeled it and ate it all so well.

He ran away because he was scared of it.
