When I went to Macau, all I could think about was trying authentic Portuguese Egg Tarts. I wanted to know what all the hype was about, because people couldn't have enough of them. Luckily, I got to try one of the best ones besides Lord Stow's. I heard that Lord Stow has ridiculously long lines and we were with a tour guide so we got to try the other best, Koi Kei. The guided tour was so worth it because it was only 30$ for an all day experience. We saw so much including the Ruins of St. Paul,

Jackie Chan's casino, went to the best and cheapest souvenir shops, got an in depth historical lesson about all the buildings and about Macau, and met so many cool people on the tour. I wish to go back one day when this Coronavirus is over with. Along the tour, we stopped by Lord Stow's after this pretty temple we saw. I liked the block because it looked like ancient China and the buildings were a bit different from anything I have seen before.

We apparently wiped out their whole batch of egg tarts that they had at the store, and I got the last 6. There was only one left! Honestly it was so worth it because it was so good. Perfect amount of glaze. The other crackers were good there too because all their food was handmade. Like the walnut clusters. They were heavenly and my dad ate it all so fast when I brought him some lol.

I still mouthwater when I see these photos!
I tried one and I brought 5 back to my Studio City room. I also ate them for the next few days whenever I got hungry. They were so tasty!! They tasted so flaky on the outside, and soft on the inside, and it tasted like a sweet little egg cake. I know they have similar ones in Korea but I never had one of those either, so my first experience was the best! I love Portuguese egg tarts so much.
